Novel written by myself and published in collaboration with Alberto Bautista, Andrea Reyes, Claudia Bonotto, and Yvonne Casas for the Editorial Studies Certification in Casa del Libro from the National Autonomous University of Mexico. For this project, I worked on the illustrations, the concept, and the InDesign layout.

Zeit/Sueños is a story that explores the Duality between the world in our dreams and a dystopian society, where people are not allowed to sleep anymore. The book’s design draws heavily from this motif, and plays with the dichotomy of light and darkness in the book’s layout, the cover, up to the vellum paper dust jacket.

Autobiographic video essay made for the Open Design’s Media Technologies seminar at Humboldt’s Cluster of Excellence, Berlin. For this project, I worked on concept design, writing, filming, editing and music.

Bruises speaks about the physical and psychological bruises I received during my first months in Berlin, exploring my own corporeal vulnerability, and its communication with my emotions, mind and memory. The creation and design of the video served as an exploration of bruises as weak materiality with mediatic capacities.

Exploratory performance produced for the Open Design’s Laboratory Seminar, and installed in the Growing Sensecapes exhibition at Humboldt Forum, Berlin. For this project, I worked in collaboration with Ellie Davis and Anthony Thotungal in the research, concept design, organization, and installation of the exhibited piece. I was additionally in charge of the presentation video, working on the writing, filming, editing and music.

Embodied Knots looks at fiber knitting, as a craft with healing and communitary bonding properties. The video was a way to visually and poetically expose the narrative of our design process and its results.
